Just show up at the exam desk. If there is room you can go right in, if not they will take an appointment. Or so what happened last time

Allen,
IDUG should have a room set up specifically for testing. At past
conferences, all I had to do was sign in at the booth in front of the
testing room and within minutes I was taking my test. It was really a simple
process. If I remember right, you are allowed to take each specific test up
to a total of three times during the conference.

Hi Allen,

There are no reservations required to take the certification exams. The
testing center will be available each day during normal conference
hours. Check the On-Site program to confirm hours. Just show up, sign
up and test-up. Test early....Test Often!!!

And....There are Certification Educational Seminars available on Sunday.
Susan Lawson will be conducting the DB2 for Z/OS Certification Crammer.
Roger Sanders will be conducting the DB2 for LUW Certification Course.

You can still register for any Sunday Education Seminar when you
check-in at the Registration Desk. An additional bargain price $425 for
Conference Attendees or $475 for non-conference attendees.

Yes - open 9:30 to 5:30 on Monday, 7:00 to 5:30 on Tuesday and Wednesday and 7:00 to 3:00 on Thursday. Should give you ample time. The scheduled room is Bryan-Beeman.

Good Luck!

Thx

Re: Certification exams

Allen,

Thanks for your interest in the free IBM certification exams offered at
IDUG 2008 - North America.

There is no advanced scheduling. The exams are given on a first-come,
first-serve basis. Just stop by the "Bryan-Beeman" when you have free time
to take an exam.

The days/times certification tests can be taken during the conference, and
the list of exams offered can be found at:
http://conferences.idug.org/na/GeneralInformation/CertificationTesting/tabid/381/Default.aspx

Note that prep seminars (for separate fee) are available on Sunday (see
http://conferences.idug.org/na/Education/EducationalSeminars/tabid/487/Default.aspx
):
DB2 9 for Linux, UNIX, Windows Database Administrator Certification Exam
(Exam 731) Preparation by Roger Saunders
DB2 9 for z/OS DBA Administration Certification Crammer Course by Susan
Lawson

See you soon in Dallas!

Best Regards, Mike
