No...there is another. I'll see if I can find it tonight. I was there in
2001, hopefully it still exists :)

Re: Malls
(in response to Rebecca Bond)
A Word on Light Rail and access to Malls.

Yes, Light Rail does go to Park Meadows Mall from Downtown. Park
Meadows Mall is not an Outlet Mall.

Colorado Mills Mall does have outlet stores and is probably closest to
the Denver Downtown area. Accessible by Bus, just head West on Colfax
Ave.

No, Light Rail line stops at County Line Road and is not far enough
south to reach Castle Rock Outlet Malls.

Another Outlet mall is in Loveland, CO (1 hrs drive north of Denver).
Sorry, no northbound light-rail...yet.

Good to see the activity on this listserv pick up...

Shopping? I never make it past the 16th Street mall... In any case, won't have any time left with the wonderful entertainment CA has planned, right, Phil?

Re: Malls
(in response to Suresh Sane)
I was hoping I didn't have to rent a car.

One little thing....I'm a vegetarian (it's ok y'all can eat a cow as long as I don't have to). Anyone know if there are any Veggie Restaurants around the area? (If not, I have no shame and I will go into a big beef burly guy place, sit myself down and declare I want a baked potato and salad while feeling only moderately out of place).

Good to see the activity on this listserv pick up...

Shopping? I never make it past the 16th Street mall... In any case, won't have any time left with the wonderful entertainment CA has planned, right, Phil?

WaterCourse Foods has gotten some fairly good
reviews. < http://www.yelp.com/biz/watercourse-foods-denver >
One of my in-laws in Denver either is or was a vegetarian and may have
some other recommendations I can pass on to you.

Thanks Fred,

that's a great hint for me too. Your link just led me to a few more veggie restaurants around there: http://www.yelp.com/c/denver/vegetarian

Gosh. Two vegetarians at IDUG? I thought I'd be the only one :)

Next on my personal todo list is a nice safe outdoor location where I
can get a jog in.

With my social calendar so full, I don't know how I'll find time to
ask all my questions about 9.7.

I am totally impressed by what I've heard so far about Cobra.

Rebecca.
