SMPE hold action db2bind

SMPE hold action db2bind
When applying maintenance, and you want to bypass hold action for DB2BIND,
do you really have to rebind all the packages and plans. I spoke with an
IBM level 2 support person who said you don't have to. But I want to be
absolutely sure before I apply this maintenance. If you do have to what
does the JCL look like? Thanks in advance.

Re: SMPE hold action db2bind
(in response to Grady Paul)
Remember, that a SMPE hold action of DB2bind just means that for the
action taken by the PTF to be implemented a package/plan must be rebound.
So yes it does make sense that not all plans/packages need to be rebound.
If possible key in those that only benefit from the PTF......
