Our growing IT Division offers exciting opportunities to contribute to a
terrific organization! This administrator is responsible for the integrity,
availability, technical maintenance and performance of the client's
database management systems. Requirements include: A minimum of 5 -7 years
experience as a mainframe DB2 DBA supporting very large physical databases,
high numbers of concurrent users, and support for multiple DB2 environments
with high performance requirements; proven experience with DB2 product
installation, performance tuning, and growth management; and a bachelor's
degree in mathematics, computer science, or MIS. Knowledge of BMC tools,
DB2 Connect and EMC DASD is preferred. The ability to work a flexible
schedule and the acceptance of weekend work schedules and some restrictions
as to vacations is necessary. The position requires the incumbent to be
on-call periodically on a 24 hour per day/7 day per week basis. To apply
