Pittsburgh DB2 Regional User Group - Help Requested
We recently applied maintenance and are receiving a new error message in
SPUFI:

DSNE345I WARNING: DB2 DATA CORRUPTION CAN RESULT
FROM THIS SPUFI SESSION BECAUSE THE
CCSID USED BY THE TERMINAL IS NOT THE
SAME AS THE CCSID USED BY SPUFI.

- TERMINAL CCSID: 37
- SPUFI CCSID: 500
NOTIFY THE DB2 SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR.

From what I can see, the CCSID of 37 is what we want. (Or 1140.) We
are not sure why our system is set to 500 other than "that is the way it
has always been". My question to all of you - does anyone have
experience in changing CCSID's, and what issues did you find if any.
Any input or suggestions would be helpful. Thank you all!
