The DB2Night Show Episode #3 - Theme: High Availability - Scott Hayes, DBI Software

The International DB2 Users Group (IDUG) is pleased to partner with DBI to deliver a free Webcast by renowned presenter Scott Hayes, President & CEO, DBI. This live event will run approximately 60 minutes and participants will have the opportunity to pose questions to the presenter. Capacity is limited, so register early.

Like many TV and Radio Shows, each segment will include fun stuff, education, tips, and special guests. The DB2Night Show will reach out to various industry experts for their participation. We will also be seeking guests from the DB2 LUW User Community - yes, that's right, you could be on our show! We want to take questions from viewers and possibly even help solve DB2 mysteries. Would you like over 100 DB2 LUW professionals to help you solve your toughest DB2 challenges? If you are interested in being on The DB2Night Show, please send an email to [login to unmask email]

Episode #3 will include various guest experts on the topic of availability - Dale McInnis from the IBM Toronto Lab will discuss HADR, HACMP, and DB2 9.7 enhancements and best practices. We will also have a guest expert from Xkoto to talk about GRIDSCALE and their newest release. The conversation and debate should become quite lively when we pose the question "What is the best HA technology to use?"
