DB2Connect Problems

DB2Connect Problems
Hi ,

I installing new version of DB2Connect PE v 7.1on NT . When I try to
connect to DB2/OS390 v 5 , I get the following error on the mvs db2 log:

STC04470 DSNL032I -DB2T DSNLIRTR DRDA EXCEPTION CONDITION IN
REQUEST FROM REQUESTOR LOCATION=167.150.51.228 FOR THREAD WITH
LUWID=A79633E4.G447.B4D6484953DF
REASON=00D3101C
ERROR ID=DSNLIRTR0001
IFCID=0192
SEE TRACE RECORD WITH IFCID SEQUENCE NUMBER=00000000

Error documentation:

00D3101C

Explanation: DB2 has detected an error while processing a connection
request from DDCS. A DB2RA connection request was received from DDCS.

This reason code is issued by the following CSECTs: DSNLCRTD and DSNLIRTR.

System Action: A DDM reply message (SYNTAXRM) is returned to the DRDA
client.

Operator Response: Notify the DDCS system administrator.

System Programmer Response: This is probably not a DB2 problem. This
error is most likely caused by an incorrect entry in the DCS directory on
DDCS. Refer to IBM Distributed Database Connection Services Installation
and Configuration Guide for information on configuring your DDCS system.

ON the client side in the Client configuartion assistant I get a connection failure with this message:

SQL10007N message '10006235648' could not be4 retrieved. Reason code 4

We sucessfully connect using DB2Connect on other clients but cannot determine what is unique to this installation.

Any Clues ?

Have you tried putting single or double quotes around your select
statement?

Have you tried specifying columns rather than using the *?
