DB2 z/OS V10 - DSNTXAZP
Hi all,

We are applying a lot of maintenance to DB2 for z/OS. There are a lot of Hold Actions (over a dozen) that require manual updates to the CLIST input member (new parms).

I'm wondering - what is the safest way to perform these changes to the CLIST input member.

If we start our DB2 subsystem with the new code (PTFs), can we just run DSNTXAZP to produce a new input member with the new parms and their defaults?

I'm wondering if that would be safer than manually editing the CLIST input member for each Hold Action?

Yes Mike,

Running DSNTXAZP is the way we're using nowadays for our customers when having new zparms to add to DSNTIDxx and DSNTIJUZ.
