Making VARSTORAGE HIGH Permanent--DB2 V10 on z/OS
Respected Listers,

Thank you for taking time to look into my question.

My current VARSTORAGE value is LOW.

I can change the value from LOW to HIGH using PROFILE VARSTORAGE(HIGH) in option 6 from Primary Menu.

But when I logoff and log back on the value goes back to LOW. How can I make HIGH permanent?

Thank you,

I am just curious. What is OPT 6 on your ISPF Panel? Not all shops use the same entries for the same thing.

Thank you

When you logon, in the logon panel there should be an option that reads "Command".. You can use that field to execute a CLIST or REXX to setup your environment. for example EX 'userid.clist(mysetup)' will execute the clist mysetup from the library userid.clist. Some sites may be automatically invoking user clists that conform to the site's invocation standards.

First
It appears that the original poster is asking about the VARSTORAGE setting of the TSO profile command.
This value controls the location of storage for the REXX debug command.
It is not a DB2 option.

I would suggest posing a question to your z/os systems programming team at your shop.
If you have access Software Xcel and the IBM-MAIN listservs are also options.
