Automatic Storage conversion

Dear all - I have a tablespace which has 100+ tables and this tablespace is taking 40 minutes for AS conversion and the tablespace state will be in "Move in Progress".

Can people do normal transactions during this "Move in Progress" state?

Can people read and write in the tables while the tablespace is in "Move in Progress" state?

 Thanks

Glenn

RE: Automatic Storage conversion - Solved.

IBM confirmed that read and write operations are possible while the tablespace is in Move-in-Progress state. So except for the dropping the recreating the tempspace for first few minutes there is no downtime needed.

The thread is closed.
