Acceleration of Native SQL Stored Procedures in IDAA

I had a question for anyone with  IDAA experience.  I am looking to leverage the IDAA to offload high cost read-only stored procedures.  The procedures in question are native SQL stored procs.

When reading the documentation, I am slightly confused by what appears to be semi-contradictory statements.

https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/SSEPEK_11.0.0/comref/src/tpc/db2z_bindoptqueryacceleration.html

On this page it suggests the following for ENABLEWITHFAILBACK:

Not valid for REBIND of a native SQL procedure package.

Yet in the ALTER STORED PROCEDURE statement and CREATE STORED PROCEDURE statement for native SQL stored proc it provides the QUERY ACCELERATION ENABLE WITH FAILBACK option.  When I alter the stored procs to QUERY ACCELERATION ENABLE WITH FAILBACK, I get a zero return code but I am unsure what to make of the previous documentation.  The procedure in questions is opens a cursor and performs a select.

Any insight regarding native SQL stored procs and enable with failback acceleration is is appreciated

Gary,

I have observed this difference too, looks like for Native SP's you code the BIND options in the SP syntax rather than as BIND/rebind option............
