Hi,

I am not a Linux Expert and my intention is not to misguide you.

My humble suggestion is conceptually I do not find any issues running HADR on such different systems.

If DB2 version, Fix Pack Levels are same with the OS being run on same Processor Platform and bit-ness [32 bit/ 64 bit ] with same Linux Kernel Versions , I do not see much of an issue.

I do not have any setup like yours in a enterprise environment. I am not basing my arguments with substantial real time environments and evidences.

But I do have my personal laptop and I run HADR in two different Linux itself. One being Ubuntu 16.04 and other CentOS 7.3. The underlying packages and kernels are completely different in different OS. But DB2 versions and CPU and bitness are all same. So I do not find any issues. Obviously I am running such an environment for tutorial purposes, which is no way a real time environment.

Experience is the best Teacher.

thanks,
