Release Deallocate on NULLID Packages

Hello listers,

We are running on DB2 V11 for Z/os CM. Is it advisable to rebind all packages under NULLID collection with parameter RELEASE(DEALLOCATE) ?

Thank you all

are you planning to use high performance DBAT?
RELEASE(DEALLOCATE) for Nullid packages won't make any difference to workload coming thru DDF unless you use MODIFY DDF command to make use of BINDOPT or BINDPOOL which will enable HPDBAT behaviour..  i hope you are using CMTSTAT=Inactive.

RE: Release Deallocate on NULLID Packages
(in response to Antonis Galaios)

short answer: no. If you want to take advantage of high performance dbats then you would want to create new copies of these packages with a different collection id with release(deallocate) and use those new packages for the high performance dbats. The current nullid packages should not be changed.
