As RSU1307 is before the release of DB2 V11, you won't have the
PTFs for the migration to V11. DB2 V11 will fail on startup unless
V10 has been started
with them - because they are required to ensure that a fallback to
V10 (after the catalog
changes made by DSNTIJTC) will be successful.
If you really wanted to do as little as possible in V10, you could
try applying just those PTFs,
ensure that V10 is still working, and then migrating. But if you
have any problems with that
V10 environment, you might find IBM support saying "apply recent
Many of the hold actions will be
- ignorable - 'Rebind if you have this problem'
- ignorable - changes to zparms which the migration will pick up
- required anyway - fixes to the catalog/directory which will have
to be done in V10 or V11
