Kurt,

Would you by chance know if alters on other database objects will ever be supported?  Such as stored procedures and views.  It stills blows my mind you can't alter a view or a stored procedure for db2 in z/OS.

Alter for SP has been existing for at least since V10. Not everything but a lot can be altered.

"CREATE OR REPLACE" for stored procedures and views would sure be nice for DB2 z/OS.

It makes life so much easier on DB2 LUW.

Sure.  You can't actually alter the DDL of the SP so I find the alter not helpful at all.  I am using alter the DDL of the proc.
