Judging/Winner Announcements:

Video submissions will be accepted on or before August 22, 2008. Winners will be announced at the IDUG 2008 - Europe conference, held October 13-17, 2008. Winners will also be notified via email.

Judging will be conducted by a panel of six IDUG volunteers, representing the technical and geographic variety present in our members. Judges will award 1-10 points for each video based on its entertainment value and technical merit. Another 1-5 points can be awarded based on each video's YouTube rating, provided at least 30 people have voted for it. The four categories will be evaluated separately, with a first and second place winner in each category. The highest scoring video from all four categories will be awarded the "Best Overall Video", which provides an additional prize.
