The IDUG 2023 EMEA Db2 Tech Conference will be held in Prague, Czech Republic, at the Prague Congress Centre (PCC).

Prague Congress Centre

The Prague Congress Centre has a very rich and varied history. The construction of the neofunctionalist building began in 1976 and was completed in 1981 as one of the largest and most modern social centers in Europe. Since then, it has become a recognized venue where many great international congresses and conferences are organized, as well as cultural, social and sport events.

In the last years the Prague Congress Centre went through significant changes, thanks to which it presents itself as a modern venue that keeps up with the technological innovations required for hosting events on international scale. With an exhibition area of 13.000 m², 20 halls and 50 meeting rooms for up to 10.000 people and a beautiful view of the city panorama, it offers a unique, meaningful and quality venue for all kinds of events.

The Prague Congress Centre draws energy from renewable resources and has implemented several energy-saving measures in order to reduce overall energy consumption

The PCC is located about 20 km (12.5 miles) from Václav Havel Airport Prague.

Bus stops are located directly in front of terminals.

Bus rides do not need to be booked in advance. Passengers must buy a ticket before onboarding (the cost is 40 CZK [~ 1.70 EUR] for a single ticket). Tickets are sold in the Visitor Centre, at the Prague Public Transit company counters in Arrival Halls, or from ticket vending machines located throughout both terminals and directly at bus stops. Most ticket machines accept contactless credit card payments. Tickets can also be purchased on the Lítačka mobile app.
