Building the best possible grid is a lot of work!
There are hundreds of abstracts, hours of review, prioritization of the topics, assuring the best possible speakers and presentations, balancing the grid to meet the needs of all the attendees. Then, there is the Networking to plan and Marketing to do. And, of course, the volunteers learn so much, and find time for some fun while they’re working! Many friendships are formed that last a lifetime.
