SAP has released an interesting new white paper exploring the benefits that DB2 11 for z/OS brings to today's mission-critical SAP solutions. Authors Johannes Schuetzner (IBM) and Bernd Kohler (SAP) cover a variety of topics from an SAP perspective, including performance and scalability, administration enhancements, backup/recovery enhancements and the upgrade process from DB2 10 to DB2 11.
