how do you track down a CLI0108E error? Application is complaining of connection errors. Nothing is showing up in the DB2 started tasks.
    thanks

We usually request authid failing and look for any other issues on Db2 side (timeouts, deadlocks, bad SQLcodes etc...).  Otherwise you will need application logs from client side...been there done that.

Is this your own application or a vendor application? Was it changed recently?

It's very likely an application error: connection was closed or gone, but the program attempts to use the connection anyway. Since the connection is gone you don't see anything on the z/OS side.

Capture a Db2 CLI trace on the client side and open a case with IBM Db2 Connect support.
