DB2 - L

We've just amended our Reorgs to use implicit mapping tables and hit a slight issue in prod (of course).
Our main prod system is the only one that uses the DEADLINE parm in SHRLEVEL CHANGE Reorgs and so this morning we had 4 jobs hit their deadline time. They then ended "normally" with message
DSNU374I -BP0C 274 06:54:27.65 DSNURLOG - REORG WITH SHRLEVEL REFERENCE OR CHANGE HAS BEEN TERMINATED, REASON=2

    This however sets RC8.
The implicit mapping tables for the 4 Reorgs that hit the deadline were NOT dropped when the utility ended - presumably because of the RC8.
This seems a bit of an oversight on IBM's part, as there's no outstanding utility of course.
Has anybody else experienced this and come up with a cunning plan to get round it??

    Regards,
    Steve

Did some playing and it looks like the use of OPTIONS EVENT(ITEMERROR,SKIP) with a Reorg Listdef is the cause of the problem

    "Working as designed".

Meaning they didn't think of this scenario?

PH41287: REORG WITH OPTIONS EVENT(ITEMERROR, SKIP) DOES NOT CLEAN MAPPING TABLE WHEN HITS THE DEADLINE WITH MSG MSGDSNU374I
