CCDUG, with the assistance of IDUG, will be hosting a 2-day Db2/IMS online technical conference with 2 parallel tracks on each day.  This will be a no-charge digital affair using IDUG's conferencing technology (adobe-connect)!

In order to attend this online conference one must complete a simple registration by providing your Name and email for each day and room you wish to attend.  You can register in advance and get an email reminder with a link or simply register at the last minute.  You can pop in and out of each live session that is of interest to you.

There are a plethora of fascinating and interesting session covering Db2 for Z, Db2 LUW and IMS.

On the Db2 Z track we have a session on Db2 for z/OS Trends & Directions by Jim Pickel.  We will see where IBM is taking Db2.  Anthony Ciabattoni, from IBM SWAT, team has two sessions describing experiences in "expect the unexpected" and "mass recovery".  Terry Purcell explains why we need to "stop REBINDing!".  Chad Reiber from BMC gives the latest on "Optimization Hints".  Chris Crone from Broadcom has the very latest of SQL and SQL PL.  Day 2 has several developer and ZOWE sessions.  Roy Boxwell from SEGUS reviews Db2 limits and how they use ZOWE to monitor limits.  Maryela Weihrauch explains how to "integrate Db2 for z/OS db change in your enterprise DevOps piplelines".   We also have Kendrick Ren explaining how to "transform the developer experience for Db2 for z/OS" (how to use the popular and common VSCODE for developing SQL and SQL PL).  Plus a bunch more sessions!

Db2 LUW has speakers from the IBM lab going over the latest new, query optimization, V11.5 GA and beyond, migrating Db2 from AIX to X86 and more!

IMS has tracks from the IMS developers including the chief architect, Better Patterson Bucci, who goes over the IMS strategic roadmap.

There will be Q&A from the speaker after each session.

For those unable to attend particular sessions, the Central Canada User group is (attempting) recording the sessions for playback at a later date.

    Regards
