    please excuse a "non-DB2" question............
We are considering getting z/OS Connect for RESTful APIs.
does z/OS Connect provide monitoring functions as well as basic connectivity?
    thanks

    Bill,

Not sure exactly what you would monitor, but have you looked at SMF type 123?

We have report classes in our WLM CB rules paired with the WLM classes in the z/OS Connect XML configuration file.  They're useful for producing interval summaries of transaction volume and CPU utilization broken down by line-of business.
