Stored Procedures are being used by Application groups and DBA's more for many reasons. We will cover some of the differences of z-OS and LUW. I will talk writing a single return Stored Procedures in three easy steps. We will then add a multi-return (LUW). After we understand the simple Stored Procedure add some features to make the then more powerful and have some logic. In the final part we will talk about authority to write and execute a Stored Procedure. Included in the presenation material will be take home examples that can be used by a DBA to make woek easier and faster.
