Speaker Bio: Steven Sit is the Program Director for IBM's Big Data Portfolio based in Silicon Valley Lab, California. He is responsible for go-to-market strategy for the product line, including market analysis, development prioritization, business partner enablement, competitive studies and product packaging. Prior to Big Data, Steven was part of IBM's M&A team as the integration executive for Exeros acquisition (aks InfoSphere Discovery). In the past 10 years, Steven had held key positions in a number of structure and unstructured data management initiatives in IBM, including database tooling and text search. He is also a frequent speaker at customer briefings and conferences
