IDUG My Conference 
Build your own conference agenda using IDUG’s My Conference feature. Each attendee can customize their week at IDUG.  The “My Agenda” tab gives attendee’s the ability to customize their conference choices including technical sessions, technical networking sessions & social networking opportunities. Attendees can download their custom agenda or hook up their calendar (Google Calendar, Outlook 2010, etc.) to the iCalendar link to have the information at their fingertips.

To view the confence agenda, please click here. Attendees will be able to access a speaker's biography, presentation abstract and five key bullet points on the sessions available throughout the conference. Speakers can access their session information here and can update the abstracts selected for the program, provided the thread chair is notified of any changes.


Below are the important speaker deliverable deadlines for the IDUG DB2 Tech Conference in Melbourne, Australasia 2013:
Draft Presentation Due: 5 August 2013
Final Presentation Due: 26 August 2013
We encourage all speakers to adhere to these deadlines or notify the Thread Chairs if you cannot meet these dates. Your Thread Chair will confirm receipt of all materials sent to meet the above deadlines. Your Thread Chair is the primary contact for all communications related to the conference, including submitting draft/final presentations, registration and other questions you may have for a successful conference.

Please use the official IDUG DB2 Tech Conference in Melbourne, Australia 2013 template to assist you in preparing your presentation for the conference proceedings. The presentation template must be used throughout the entire presentation slide deck. The Speaker Guidelines document on this page provides directives for what information to include on certain slides.

We ask each speaker to volunteer to moderate one or more sessions at the conference. Instructions on how to sign up to moderate will be published soon.

Please convert your presentation to PDF format (with Notes) prior to uploading the file.
  • If using Microsoft Office 2003 – Print to PDF (install PDFCreator free tool from sourceforge.net).
  • If using Microsoft Office 2007 and above – save file as PDF.
  • If using Lotus Symphony – Export as PDF.


If you are a primary or an alternate speaker, you will receive a complimentary registration to the 2013 IDUG DB2 Tech Conference in Melbourne, Australia. You will be able to register for the conference through the registration site using the speaker discount code that will be provided by your thread chair in a future e-mail communication. If you are a co-speaker, you will be entitled to a discounted registration.  Additional instructions for completing the co-speaker discounted registration will be provided by your thread chair in a future e-mail. You may also download and complete the hard copy Registration Form, and in the Source Code field provide the speaker discount code, then fax the form to IDUG Headquarters at +1.905.479.9297.
