Want to get stronger in the SQL language? Want to know what to look for when it comes to performance and tuning in a query or program? Then this is the seminar for you! We will cover optimization features and enhancements through the latest versions of Db2 for both z/OS and LUW. This is a cross-platform seminar where attendees will evaluate SQL code and analyze and explain many queries using the IBM Data Studio visual explain tool. Sometimes there are three, four, or five different ways to code query logic to get the same result set. Which way is best? We will break these down in detail, have numerous discussions, and of course walk through and analyze the explain data output. Of course "It Depends". Attendees will come away much stronger in the SQL language and Db2 optimization and take away many great SQL examples of code.

This seminar is for anyone wanting to get stronger in SQL and optimization performance and tuning.

Monday, June 14,  10:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. EST
