My manager immediately approved upgrading from DB2 LUW V9.1 to 9.7 which is a well documented process and laid out the steps. After installing the code on our UAT box, results were desirable and everything ran as smooth as butter! During Christmas holidays, I implemented new features such as currently committed, LOB inlining, LOB compression, index compression, and more. Come learn which of these features gave me the most bang for the buck! I also experienced some problems and worked with IBM Support on several Optimizer and Index related issues. Come to this session and benefit from lessons I learned the hard way. Learn what steps you should take to make your production deployment successful.
