Many things can simply be RESTORED - but data needs to be RECOVERED. Therefore, the single most important function of a DBA is the backup & recovery of mission critical data. The goal of this presentation is to provide you with user examples and recovery procedures that translate directly to time, dollar and quality savings. We will identify recovery tuning points, and analyze the log to find answers to many questions.
