Now matter how much time was spent up front designing tables and indexes, changes to the schema will inevitably be required as dictated by changing business requirements. Come see how these changes can be made with improved data availability in the next release of DB2 with the ability to change a column data type, or change attributes on indexes without dropping and recreating objects.
