Topic: 2013 EMEA
Subtopic: DB2 for LUW
BM DB2 10 for Linux, UNIX and Windows introduces sophisticated capabilities for temporal and bitemporal data management. These features significantly reduce the cost and complexity of developing and maintaining temporal applications. In the past, many organizations have implemented temporal applications through triggers, stored procedures and custom application code. This session describes how to migrate such existing temporal solutions to DB2 Time Travel. We'll discuss several common migration scenarios and explain step by step how to exploit DB2 temporal tables and the new temporal constructs of the SQL language standard.
