Subtopic: DB2 for LUW
This presentation aims to provide the audience with an end to end view of how DB2 manages data both in memory and on disk. With an overview of how buffer pools and table spaces work together, and an explanation of the different types of I/O, the audience will leave with a better understanding of how DB2 manages their data. Through the use of a demonstration the audience will be shown how a typical table is created from a buffer pool and table space perspective giving them an idea of what the internal process involves.
