Living within the relational world since its' debut or coming into it lately, we are immersed by 3 dimensional way of thinking (Table, Column, Row). Everything is pure relational algebra and dance according to mathematical laws. That's fine as long as it works, but when it stops working and we try to force it, we do a dis-service to the system and to ourselves. We need to learn other ways to do the job better.
The presentation takes real life cases from different projects and shows the design transformation from pure relational design to a mixed relational and XML design in order to accomplish the predefined projects' goals.
