Topic: 2016 NA

Subtopic: zip download

Although Java workloads have proliferated on DB2, application developers are unable to code applications that have high performance and continuous availability with large data volumes. Customers have also embarked on legacy modernization projects where COBOL and Java have to coexist, thus increasing the need for developing efficient programming models to optimize CPU. We will present best practices in all key areas - connection management, optimal end-to-end configurations, load balancing, failover, cleanup, and much more to bridge the gap between applications and DB2. We will also cover DB2 functions such as profile tables that helps you manage unprecedented growth of distributed applications while maintaining quality of service of DB2.
