After 19 years in the DB2 business I've learned quite a lot. With this great age comes wisdom!? Come and hear a light-hearted explanation of DB2 for z/OS issues and concerns, performance tips, and best practices presented as proverbs. From the simple "always take a copy" to the profound "24X7 doesn't mean you are always available it just means you can fool people into thinking you are", each proverb will be backed by facts as they related to real life experiences during my job as DBA, application architect, and system programmer!
