Recently IBM introduced an enhancement to DB2 V7 and V8 to allow LOB data bigger than 32K to be unloaded and loaded using the standard DB2 Unload and Load Utilities. In this presentation , this new function will be explained in depth, based on experiences gathered during a 5 month IBM beta program in which the presenter participated.
