Attendees will be able to access the speakers' biographies, presentation abstracts, and five key bullet points on the sessions available throughout the conference. Speakers can access their session information here and can update the abstracts selected for the program, provided the thread chair is notified of any changes.
Below are the important speaker deliverable deadlines for IDUG 2020 Virtual Db2 Tech Conference:
- Final Presentation Due: July 6, 2020
We encourage all speakers to adhere to these deadlines or notify the thread chairs with any reasons why you cannot meet these dates. Your thread chair will confirm receipt of all materials sent to meet the above deadlines. Your thread chair is the primary contact for all communications related to the conference, including submitting draft/final presentation, registration, and other questions you may have for a successful conference.

Please use the official IDUG 2020 Virtual Db2 Tech Conference template to assist you in preparing your presentation for the conference proceedings. The presentation template must be used throughout the entire presentation slide deck. The Speaker Guidelines document on this page provides directives for what information to include on certain slides.

How to Upload Your Presentation
Special for IDUG 2020 Virtual Db2 Tech Conference, in addition to uploading slides, speakers are required to upload a recording of their session. Please contact IDUG Headquarters (firstname.lastname@example.org) should you have any questions or concerns.
1) Uploading Slides:
- Please click here to download Instructions on how to upload your presentation.
- Deadline to upload your final presentation is July 6, 2020.
Please convert your presentation to PDF format (with notes) prior to uploading the file.
- If using Microsoft Office 2007 and later, save the file as PDF.
- If using Lotus Symphony, export as PDF.
2) Uploading Video:
We have video instructions outlining how to record a session and how to upload that recording to the IDUG website. We encourage you to watch this five-minute recording to familiarize yourself with the process: https://www.idug.org/d/do/10209
If you are a primary or an alternate speaker, you will receive a complimentary registration to the IDUG 2020 Virtual Db2 Tech Conference. You will be able to register for the conference through the IDUG 2020 Virtual Db2 Tech Conference registration site using the speaker discount code that will be provided via email.
New to IDUG 2020 Virtual Db2 Tech Conference, if you are a co-speaker, you will be entitled to a complimentary registration. IDUG will reach out with a discount code. You may also download and complete the hard copy registration form. In the Source Code field, provide the speaker discount code, and fax the form to IDUG 2020 +1.910.523.5504.
