These include items such as Stored Procedures, Object Relational Extensions (LOBs, UDFs, UTDs), as well as the  transitions to Unicode, 64 bit, and Continuous Delivery.  Chris recently joined Broadcom and is excited about the ability to help customers accelerate innovation on their mainframes.

Anne Hoelscher

Anne Hoelscher, Director of Db2 R&D, BMC 

Anne has been working with Db2 since V1.2. While her background is technical with beginnings in Development, her hobbies include studying metacognition and understanding learning differences. She is certified in Brene Brown’s Dare to Lead program and is focused on driving results by fostering engagement and innovation in her teams. Anne holds a BS in mathematics from University of Dallas and remains involved by serving as her class’s agent for alumni engagement.

Celia Gahagan, Executive Director, Core Infrastructure, Morgan Stanley

Celia Gahagan is an executive director for Morgan Stanley’s Core Infrastructure group. With over 30 years’ experience in Db2 and the financial services industry, she has led database administration teams for Db2 on both the z/OS and distributed platforms. At Morgan Stanley she is currently responsible for setting and managing the strategic direction of the Db2 for z/OS platform. Celia is a member of IDUG’s Board of Directors, an IBM Champion, and president of TRIDEX, the regional Db2 user group for the New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut areas.

Saghi Amirsoleymani, Vice President, WW Z Analytics-Hybrid Cloud, Rocket Software

Saghi is a WW Z Cross Brand Vice President at Rocket Software, where she evangelizes solutions for customers and partners on IBM technologies. Prior to joining this team, Saghi was part of the IBM Db2 z/OS technical support team and worked onsite premier support for almost 20 years. She began her career at IBM as an intern while earning her degree at the University of Southern California, and therefore is a diehard Trojans fan. She travels throughout the world presenting on various topics related to analytics, and performance at conferences, users groups, webcasts, and events. She has also been recognized as an IBM Champion.
