Greater Cincinnati DB2 User Group 01/24/02
The next Greater Cincinnati DB2 User Group will be held:

When: Thursday, January 24, 2002, 1-4PM
Where: Ohio Casualty Group,
9450 Seward Road Fairfield (Cincinnati) Ohio
Who: Bonnie Baker ( < > )
Topic: DBA Things A Programmer Should Know
Cost: %0

RSVP: REQUIRED to ensure an accurate count.

There are times when DBA issues and developer issues overlap. What does the
DBA know that a developer should know? And how can this knowledge be used to
make designing and writing programs easier? What DDL parameters impact
program design and data integrity? And what DB2 roadblocks exist that can
make the most perfect program perform poorly? These questions and more will
be answered.

Bonnie Baker, a consultant with over 18 years of information systems
experience, concentrates on supporting the IBM DB2 product. She performs as
both consultant and architect on application development projects and
conducts seminars for DB2 education. She is best known for creating and
presenting application performance seminars in a series entitled, "Things I
Wish They'd Told Me 8 Years Ago.". She is a member of the IDUG Best Overall
Speaker Hall of Fame.
