Default schema alternatives on AIX?
Hello all,

Does anyone know if there is a way to set a default schema for a database
with DB2 UDB V5.2 on AIX, other than issuing the "set current schema"
command. What we are looking for is a way for anyone who connects to the
database to automatically have the same default schema instead of the id
they're connected with. The reason I ask is, we are testing a product that
is not qualifying column names in the SQL properly. An example would be:

select col1, col2 from schema.table
where table.col3 = whatever

The problem is that the where clause is only partially qualified causing
DB2 to give a -206. If we modify the where clause by either adding the
schema or taking off the table it works fine. Also, if we manually issue
the set current schema command it works. So, we are looking for ways to
get around this without manual intervention. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,
