Windows/udb task center issues

In our client's place, we are having problem with 'UDB Task Center' on windows. It takes minimum 5 minutes to open. We are currently on fixpack 7 (udb v8). We tried playing with several db/dbm cfg parms but no use. I have noticed the following message in db2diag.log everytime we open task center. Even after setting all the db cfg parms of DWCTRLDB, we have no luck. Please advise.

The error message from db2diag.log as follows:

Is there a way to pass the userid/password that is defined for a Task
Center script to the script itself? I want to be able to use the defined
userid/password in a CONNECT statement within the script itself.

You could edit the script and hard-code it.
