1) The digest for db2-l is still turned off. the issue seems there is a conflict between the archive and index (just an educated guess). This could be related to the search issue we have been experiencing

2) Status message. We have seen a couple of people using [login to unmask email] as a way to get an automated status message. I am trying to keep it up and as such, if you email the above address you will get a relatively updated status message. HOWEVER due to how it works you can only do this every 4 days. Gmail will only send you the 'vacation notice' (this is how we are doing it) to an specific email after 4 days.
