High CPU for DSNACOLN package
We have noticed a distributed application that is using very high CPU for
package DSNACOLN. A little digging found this collection is used by
applications like Visual Explain. I performed a search here, and the last
entry found for DSNACOLN was from 2004.

We're at V8, CM (and may be for awhile - don't ask).

I'm guessing that somewhere in this vendor-supplied software (the one that
created the distributed thread), there's a switch somewhere that not only
runs your SQL, but also "explains" it. Something nice for development, but
also something that should be turned off in production.

Has anyone else come across this package? Any suggestions? thanks..
