The International DB2 Users Group (IDUG) is pleased to partner with ITGain Software to deliver a free Webcast with presenter Thomas Sprenger who is a DB2 senior consultant and has worked extensively with AIX, DB2 UDB as an enterprise architect.
About the Webcast:
This live web cast will run approximately 60 minutes.
This presentation will answer questions such as:

§ How do I collect my SQL workload in an efficient manner?
§ How to handle the SQL swarm: The Pro's and Con's of normed SQL statements
§ How do I identify the index tuning potential?
§ How do I rate the recommended indexes and identify the important ones?

About the Presenter:
Thomas Sprenger is a Senior DB2 Consultant whose work has had its origins in the fields of AIX and High Availability sectors respectively.
He has worked as a Strategy Consultant in the area of Enterprise Architecture and is currently involved in complex DB2 performance tuning projects for some very large corporations in Europe.
In this capacity he is responsible for defining the upcoming SQL tuning and monitoring facility of ITGain's DB2 LUW monitoring software SPEEDGAIN for DB2.
