Party Dress Code

Party Dress Code
Dear IDUG NA Participants,

I'm enjoying this banter on dress code, and also want to apologize for my
earlier post which contained only a hyperlinked image that was stripped by
the listserv software. It was suggested by a member of the CPC that DBI use
this listserv to get the word out about our IDUG party Monday night at the
House of Blues. I didn't realize that images were stripped, which left my
note to everyone rather naked (you can see the tie-in to dress code,
right?). Here's what my earlier post should have said:

"It's a Celebration,
And You're Invited!
Monday, May 19th at 8:00pm

Show your support for IDUG by celebrating their 20th Anniversary
with DBI at the House of Blues.

Enjoy Drinks, Hors D'Oeuvres, and live entertainment compliments
of DBI. Two lucky IDUG Attendees with get the chance to play
Deal or no Deal for cash prizes!

How do I get in? Good question. Stop by DBI's booth (#313) to
get a button. Seriously, it's that easy! See you there!"

As for dress code to the party, please wear clothes. There are some IDUG
attendees that, well, frankly, we just wouldn't want to see any other way.
Someone asked earlier about guests - DBI will welcome guests with a valid
IDUG badge.

I've also heard a rumor of another vendor sponsoring a party on Tuesday
night. IMHO, this is shaping up to be one of the most exciting IDUG
conferences ever.

And if you'll kindly grant me one more shameless marketing moment, I hope
you'll join my Sunday Education Seminar "DB2 LUW Performance Diagnosis
Learning Lab" - we'll be looking at YOUR performance numbers in this class
and you will leave with tuning ideas. IDUG AP participants scored this
class 6.97 out of 7.00. (See

See you at IDUG,
