DB2 Education Update

This is to let you know that IDUG has formed an alliance with IBM Technical
Education Services (ITES) to support our ongoing efforts to provide the DB2
Community with information on a broad range of DB2 education and resources.
Please check out the details from them below.

DB2 Education Update from IBM IT Education Services

The strategic use of technology is a critical enabler for achieving
business objectives, but the goal of keeping IT skills current is a
moving target. Technology evolves so quickly that within three to five
years, 50 percent of an IT professional's skills are likely to be out of
date. IBM addresses that skill gap with a comprehensive portfolio of
flexible technical training solutions.

IBM can provide all the latest information about the DB2 family of
products and solutions. They have courses that cover all platform
environments, from z/OS to UNIX and Windows, on topics such as
fundamentals, application programming, database administration and
design, data sharing, performance, querying and reporting and much more.
IBM also offers training on the whole DB2 Information Management
software portfolio. Through training paths, IBM can help you find the
learning resources to meet your specific needs. Courses are delivered in
classrooms, via e-learning, onsite with customization to meet unique
requirements, and through blended learning.
