Salary Target around $80,000
Relocation Assistance offered.

DB2 DBA with a strong performance and tuning background. PeopleSoft
experience would be a plus.

Required Skills:

-Minimum of 6 years experience working with DB2 for OS/390 or z/OS. This
experience includes knowledge of database utilities, performance and tuning
(system and SQL), restart and recovery, underlying storage management
system (VSAM and DASD), SQL, program preparation, client tools (Microsoft
office), JCL and Platinum/CA database tools.

-Able to work independently.
-Experience with physical database design.
-Migrate and control test data as required
-Implement database audit and security.
-Minimum of 6 years of experience with performance and tuning.
-Experience with performance monitoring and tuning using IBM DB2PM or
similar monitoring tool.
-Experience with partitioned tablespaces and large tables (>100 million
-Implement changes in development, test, and production
-Set up maintenance processes necessary to achieve optimal performance
The DBA will provide a weekly status report to the DBA Manager detailing
progress, issues and concerns.
