Lead DB2 DBA Architect role for large DW project...Long term, great fortune sized company!!
One of our large clients in your neck of the woods is currently
looking for the following resource on a long term project. I'm not
sure if you maintain a group of professionals who may be looking for
new project based work, but if you do, I'd be happy to chat with
anybody that you think could benefit from the following information:

A large services organization is currently developing a very large
BI Enterprise solution, and are in the process of putting together a
team of individuals to devise a total solution in answering the
below recommendations:

Provide read-only access to the distributor component of a
Federated Data Warehouse (FDW)
Adopt a preferred BI tool suite
Move the distributor component of the FDW to Unix on pSeries
Create a data access layer (semantic layer) to be used when
accessing both distributor and existing aggregate data already
available for BI use
Increase use of data movement tools for ETL into the DW
Consolidate the BI application tool environments
Develop an iterative approach to building BI applications

To this end, we are seeking an individual with the following

Extensive experience on pSeries DB2 databases in an analytic/direct
query environment
Experience with multi-terabyte databases to improve query
performance, scalability and management

If you know of anybody who might be interested in this role, please
do feel free to share this and my contact information with them, as
I'd be happy to share more information about the role. It is a
guaranteed 18 months, and we can work on a Staffed W2, Hourly W2, or
C2C basis.

I thank you for your time...
