Palladian Consulting would like to alert you to an outstanding

We are seeking 5 qualified candidates for the following opportunity in
NYC supporting our clients Employee information systems (EIS) area. The
EIS system pays over 100,000 employees. It also handles related payroll
information such as Budgeting, Timekeeping, Personnel, Staffing,
Accounting and booking of payrolls. The system is an IBM DB2 / CICS
application. Experience with DB2, CICS, SQL, QMF, ISPF, JCL, PLATINUM,
(GAMMA) with a knowledge of VSAM and other mainframe general utilities
i.e. Sorts etc. is required. Knowledge of PCs, .NET Visual Basic is also
helpful. Candidate will be responsible for online and batch programming
as well as system and data analysis.
Minimum of 8 years experience with writing application software, data
analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, databases,
programming, testing and implementation, technical and user
documentation, software conversions; environments include but are not
limited to mainframe, mid range, personal computers, laptop; available
to assist and/or lead in the design of program specifications and the
implementation of software solutions.
Participate in the process of gathering requirements from the end users
and transforming these requirements into detail program specifications.
Assist in the design and development of reports.
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of full cycle system implementation
Estimated start date of any contract resulting from this solicitation is
November 1, 2007. The contract will extend for approximately 18 Months.
The estimated termination date is May 31, 2009.
A minimum of six years with solid software and hardware support
experience in a Web administrator function supporting multiple .NET
applications. Must have hands on experience with securing .NET
applications. Some VB.net experience is a plus.
8+ years of COBOLII
5+ years of CICS
5+ years of business analysis experience
3+ years of DB2/SQL programming.
3+ years of QMF report writing
3+ years of MVS Utilities, Syncsort, TSO, and ISPF
3+ years of OS/JCL
Development of test plans and execution of them.
