We found another potential catch combing QRepl and HADR recently. btw, we use v10.5FP8 on RedHat/CentOS.
For HADR i guess we could agree to setting blocknonlogged=YES, but, when using asnclp to generate QRepl apply side control tables DDL scripts, we find TEXT column in IBMQREP_EXCEPTIONS and IBMQREP_ROLLBACK_R contains not logged clause (a similar error ref. link). Two things are particularly interesting here:
1. according to this 1021 version link, IBMQREP_ROLLBACK_R is not even in the list, but why did my asnclp still generate ddl for this table? is it b/c my asnclp version is not upgraded with db2 itself? how do i check asnclp version?
2. if we unfortunately have to keep TEXT columns in both tables, how do we get around this not logged obstacle..... setting blocknonlogged=NO sounds scary, can we simply manipulate the generated DDL and remove the not logged clause (which sounds hacky.....) ?
Thanks for your inputs.
